The TASIS Leadership Academy (TLA) is an intensive 18-month leadership development program that begins in Grade 10 and is designed to help students discover and develop their own leadership style. The program combines leadership theory, human-centered design, experiential learning, international travel, service, and entrepreneurship. Students participate in a series of leadership seminars, followed by an immersive service-learning experience abroad, and culminate the program with a year-long capstone project that addresses a real-world challenge. Rather than focusing solely on leadership positions, the Academy encourages students to explore leadership through service, innovation, collaboration, and community impact. Through experiences that require reflection, problem-solving, and cultural engagement, students develop the skills and confidence to lead with purpose in a global context.
We offer an extensive after-school co-curricular program with seasonal opportunities in athletics, the arts, STEM, and a wide range of other interests. Our athletics program operates a "no-cut" policy, encouraging students to explore new sports and develop their skills in a supportive environment. In 2025–26, every boys' and girls' varsity team earned a top-three finish at the ISAA end-of-season championships, including volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, track and field, and swimming. The performing arts are equally strong. Our annual school musical received four ISA national award nominations, including Musical Production of the Year, while our school band earned first place in the ISA Music Competition for Ensemble Performance.
Set on a beautiful 46-acre campus in the Surrey countryside, just 25 minutes from Heathrow Airport and 45 minutes from central London, TASIS England offers students the best of both worlds: a peaceful, spacious environment for learning and easy access to one of the world's great cultural capitals. The campus combines historic architecture with modern facilities, including three libraries, a professional theatre, art and design studios, science laboratories, athletic fields, fitness facilities, and welcoming boarding houses. Extensive green spaces, courtyards, and playing fields create a vibrant setting where students can learn, explore, and build community. Home to students from more than 70 nationalities, the campus reflects the School's international character while maintaining the warm, close-knit atmosphere of a traditional English school community.
Student well-being is a cornerstone of the TASIS England experience. The School's dedicated Health and Well-being Center provides comprehensive physical, mental, and emotional support for both day and boarding students through a team of fully qualified nurses, on-campus medical services, counseling support (2 for high school and 2 for PreK-Grade 8), and specialized care when needed. The Center includes private accommodation for boarders requiring medical supervision and works closely with counselors to ensure a holistic approach to student care. In 2025, the Center was awarded the prestigious HIEDA Seacole Standard, an independent accreditation recognizing excellence in student health and well-being provision. Reviewers praised the Center as a warm, welcoming environment offering outstanding physical and mental health support. TASIS England's broader commitment to well-being has also been recognized nationally, including being shortlisted and named a finalist for Independent School of the Year for Student Wellbeing, reflecting the School's long-standing focus on helping students flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
Other: Our EAL program offers small sheltered classes with specialist teachers in English language, English literature, history, and science.
