Solebury School

Since 1925, Solebury has been a leader in progressive education. By eschewing pretension, Solebury breeds a culture of warmth and acceptance where people feel seen, where teachers and students interact in a culture of mutual respect, and where students have voice and are able to steer their own experience and the school as a whole. Solebury students live and learn in a schedule designed deliberately to allow for extensive intellectual exploration, engagement in creative endeavors, and a balanced life. They can take as challenging a course load as they are ready for and get the level of support they need to be successful. This all results in students having a heightened sense of their talents and an increased ability to maximize them. We are located in New Hope, PA, giving us the benefits of a spacious, 140 acre, rural campus with NYC an hour and a half away and Philadelphia less than an hour away. Solebury offers a sports and activity program where all can participate. Programs of particular excellence include: Academic Program which works with a variety of students – we offer AP and honors classes and support classes for students with learning issues; Arts programs - classes are taught by practicing artists, and the schedule is designed so that students have daily access to a variety of arts offerings;
