About Darlington School

Darlington School is a coeducational college preparatory day and boarding school established in 1905. The school offers motivated students rigorous academics, numerous fine arts opportunities, and a competitive athletics program in a nurturing environment. At Darlington, students are Empowered to Learn with Passion, Act with Integrity, and Serve with Respect. Darlington enrolls approximately 775 students in grades Pre K through 12th grade. The school’s boarding program begins in the 9th grade. The 200 students who reside on campus come from over 20 different states and 30 different countries each year. Stretching for 500 acres, Darlington’s campus is nestled around a small lake in the foothills of the Lookout Mountain Range in Rome, Georgia.
