Oliverian School is an intentionally small, college-preparatory alternative boarding school in Pike, New Hampshire, serving grades 9–12 and PG. Oliverian is designed for bright students who benefit from a highly relational, supportive environment with academic support, counseling, executive functioning support, life-skills coaching, outdoor adventure, arts and music, and stewardship woven into the student experience.
What Makes Us Unique
Oliverian offers a deeply supportive boarding school experience without being a clinical or restrictive setting. Students have access to counseling, academic support, executive functioning coaching, life-skills support, and close adult relationships, but they also have real autonomy and room to be themselves. This balance helps students rebuild confidence, practice independence, and prepare for life beyond high school.
Oliverian is also the right scale for students who might get lost in a larger, more traditional school environment. With a relational culture and strong community life, students are seen as whole people—not just as learners or diagnoses. Set on more than 1,000 acres in the mountains of New Hampshire, Oliverian uses adventure, stewardship, arts, and music to help students build resilience, connection, responsibility, and joy.
