Founded in 1875, Wasatch Academy is an independent, liberal arts boarding school for grades 8 through 12 and post-graduates. With students from 25 countries and 27 states, we are a highly engaged, diverse and inclusive community that welcomes every student as they are.
Our 7:1 student to teacher ratio makes room for individualized academic attention. Learning coaches are
available to assist students with best practices for their personal learning skills and to teach them self-advocacy. Our hands-on Engineering and Creative Arts programs in robust maker-spaces give students room to push what’s possible with the guidance of expert teaching. Unique Characteristics
Whatever experience level on the slopes, students will enjoy snowsports. We offer winter weekends at a local resort plus time after school at our own Terrain Park. Our equestrian program teaches English and western skills to students who are new to horses to skilled riders.
