Applewild School

Applewild is a coeducational day and junior boarding school serving students from infants (3 months) through Grade 9. Located on a 42-acre campus in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Applewild combines academic excellence, character development, and a nurturing community to create an educational experience that is both challenging and joyful. Our mission is to nurture curious learners and empower them to lead with confidence, courage, and humanity. Through a student-centered approach, Applewild helps children discover their strengths, develop independence, and build the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Students are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and reflect on their growth as learners and people. As a metacognitive school, Applewild teaches students how to understand and take ownership of their learning. Guided by the values of respect, fairness, responsibility, compassion, cooperation, honesty, and civic-mindedness, students develop the confidence to embrace challenges and the character to make a positive impact on their communities.
