Description

The Hun School of Princeton is a dynamic, all-gender, private day and boarding school located in Princeton, New Jersey. Our community brings together students from around the world, united by a shared commitment to academic excellence, character development, and joyful learning. What sets Hun apart is how we combine high-powered, innovative academics with an environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and balance.

Our students are supported by a devoted faculty who challenge them to seek the fullest range of their abilities and interests. Through Harkness discussions, interdisciplinary projects, and experiential learning, we encourage thoughtful exploration and critical thinking. Academic vigor—not just rigor—is our goal. We believe students learn best when they find joy in the process, and we cultivate that joy through inspired instruction and signature programs like NextTerm, the Scholars Program, and global immersion experiences.

The School’s supportive and inclusive community values the unique talents of every student. With a structured college preparatory curriculum and a wide range of programs designed to meet diverse academic needs, students are encouraged to expand their horizons, grow in confidence, and achieve their full potential.
