The Hill School is a coeducational boarding and day high school home to 530 students from 31 states and 19 countries. Located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, our 200-acre campus is one hour north of Philadelphia and two hours south of New York City. At Hill, we believe in academic excellence founded on core competencies – writing, mathematics, and the social and hard sciences – and our programs provide students with the opportunity to explore their interests, stretch beyond their comfort zones, and discover and invest in their passions. Founded in 1851, The Hill is steadfast and committed to challenging our students to think critically, to respect a wide range of perspectives, to lead lives of meaning, and to serve the common good. Our community fosters an environment where students gain confidence, build resilience, and develop empathy.
